Meet Marcus

My name is Marcus, and I’m an old-school Democrat—grounded in the values of faith, fairness, dignity, and opportunity—and I’m ready to fight for a new New Deal. That means bold policies to rebuild a vibrant working class, restore effective government, and invest in 21st-century infrastructure that our communities urgently need.

I spent ten years as a history teacher, and I know this much: if our children are going to inherit the future they deserve, we have to remember who we are and where we come from. The Democratic Party has a proud legacy of fighting for working people—and I think it is high time we live up to it again.

This district deserves more than the rubber stamp for corporate greed representing us today. It deserves a fighter with deep roots, a teacher’s heart, and a backbone strong enough to stand up for the people who keep this country running.

I’m ready to bring that fight to Washington.
